Delivery Policy

1.         Introduction

1.1     This policy contains details of the delivery methods, periods and charges that apply to orders for our products made through our website.

1.2     This policy is a legally binding document, and forms part of the contract of sale between you and us made under our terms and conditions of sale.

2.         Delivery charges

2.1     We offer Royal Mail 1st Class Standard Delivery to all mainland UK addresses on all orders.

2.2    We charge a flat rate of £2.25 GBP for all UK orders and for up to 8 collars.

2.3     For 9 collars and over, we will contact you to arrangement payment for a further delivery charge amount of £2.25 GBP.

2.4     International orders are charged at a flat rate fee of £9.50 GBP to USA, Canada and Australia and £7.00 GBP to Europe.

2.5     Delivery charges will be calculated by our website and automatically applied to your order during the checkout process.

2.6     Please contact us with any queries on delivery times and charges for your order.

3.         Geographical limitations

3.1     We will usually be able to deliver to the following countries and territories: England, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland and Channel Islands.

3.2     We send collars to international countries and territories.

3.3      Where there are issues or delays with international mailing that we are aware of, we will advise you.

4.         Delivery methods and periods

4.1     The methods that we use to deliver our products, and the time periods within which delivery is usually completed, are as follows:

(a)      if your delivery address is on the United Kingdom mainland, we will send by Royal Mail 1st Class Standard and the typical period for delivery of products by this method is within 3 working days of dispatch. We will dispatch within 3 working days of receiving your cleared payment.

4.2     The delivery periods set out in this Section 4 are indicative only, and whilst we will make every effort to ensure that you receive your delivery in good time, we do not guarantee delivery before the end of the stated period.

4.3     Typically, we will make and post your item within 3 working days of receiving cleared payment.

4.4     We will deliver your order to your shipping address that you enter into the order. If the address that you enter is incorrect or incorrectly entered, we are not responsible for the non-delivery of your item(s) and will not refund your order nor send a replacement item. It is the buyer’s responsibility to ensure that their entered address on the order is correct at the time of placing an order with us.

4.5      We do not check PayPal addresses, we ship to the entered shipping address on the order. If your PayPal address is different to your shipping address, we do not take that into account. We only ship to your entered shipping address on the order.

5.         Delivery problems

5.1     If you experience any problems with a delivery, please contact us at hello [at] kittydirect.co.uk

5.2     Lost items – if an item is lost in the post,  we will send a replacement order after 15 days, which is when Royal Mail regards an item posted as lost within their network. We’ll replace your product and post it to you at our cost.

5.3     If our delivery service provider is unable to deliver your products, and such failure is your fault, and/or you do not collect your products from our delivery service provider within the relevant time limit and should the product be returned to us, we may agree to arrange for re-delivery of the products. We reserve the right to charge you for the actual costs of re-delivery (even where the initial delivery was paid).

5.4     An indicative list of the situations where a failure to deliver will be your fault is set out below:

(a)      you provided the wrong address for delivery;

(b)      there is a mistake in the address for delivery that was provided;

(c)      the address for delivery is not reasonably accessible;

(d)      the address for delivery cannot safely be accessed;

(e)      if in-person receipt is not required, there is no easy and secure means of leaving the products at the address for delivery and there is no person available to accept delivery;

(f)      if in-person receipt is required, there is no person available at the address for delivery to accept delivery and provide a signature; or

g)       you have been left a delivery note to collect products from the deliverer and have not collected them in the allocated time.
